Ben UFO
Get to know the artist
Ben UFO is a selector whose reputation was built behind the decks. He co-founded Hessle Audio with Pearson Sound and Pangaea, emerging from the UK dubstep scene while keeping his selections much wider than a single genre.
- Sound
House, garage, dubstep and grime all feature in his published biography. The appeal is the connection between records from different scenes and eras, rather than hearing a producer run through a catalogue of their own hits.
- Explore the catalogue
Rinse's Hessle Audio archive includes Ben UFO radio shows and recordings from clubs. Choose an episode credited to him; the shared archive also contains sets from the other founders and guests.
