GiGi FM is the name of Giulia Fournier, a DJ, producer and dancer who came up in South London's underground raves and is now based in Berlin. Her sets blend techno, bass and breaks, and she also makes ambient music. She has a long-running show on NTS Radio and runs the label Sea~rène.

Records

Her releases include the EP Magnetite on Bambe in 2022, the Kiwi Synthesis Diary series from 2021 and the EP Movimiento in 2024.

Background

She trained as a dancer at the Paris Opera and Alvin Ailey, and made Magnetite using a motion sensor that turned arm movements into sound.
