Moderat
Get to know the artist
Moderat brings Apparat's Sascha Ring together with Modeselektor's Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. The Berlin trio combines vocals and song structures with bass-heavy electronics and detailed rhythmic production. Their albums belong to the collaboration, alongside the members' separate projects; MORE D4TA explores modular composition and field recordings as well as Ring's voice.

II, III and MORE D4TA offer album-length routes into the group's own arrangements. A remix such as More Love - Rampa &ME Remix is another artist's reworking, so compare it with the original rather than treating the versions as interchangeable.
- How MORE D4TA took shape
The label describes a period of experimenting together before the songs were fully formed, including modular composition and field recordings. The resulting record brings electronic textures into songs shaped around melodies and vocals.
