Weval are Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers, a Dutch electronic duo from Amsterdam who met in 2010 through the film industry. Their first release was the Half Age EP on Atomnation in March 2013, and they have since released on Kompakt. Their music blends Merijn's trip-hop background with Harm's love of house and jazz.
