Kenji Takimi is a Japanese DJ and producer working in leftfield and alternative disco. He runs the label Crue-L Records and records under aliases and projects including Crue-L Grand Orchestra, Luger E-Go and Being Borings. His remixes include work for Hiroshi Fujiwara, Cornelius, Dimitri From Paris and Cut Copy.

The venue
A two-level music venue and cocktail bar at 12 Bourke Street. The upstairs club room hosts electronic artists, live performances and community events; downstairs is the bar, with food developed with Butchers Diner.
