X-Coast is the name of Bojan Cizmic, a Serbian-born musician based in Brooklyn. His debut release, Mango Bay, played with nostalgic 90s rave sounds, and he has since moved between techno, drum and bass and house. His records have come out on Steel City Dance Discs, Unknown To The Unknown and Hot Haus, and he founded his own label, Riviera Records.

The venue
A Bushwick music complex at 599 Johnson Avenue that books both concerts and club nights, with a main hall, smaller rooms and a rooftop.
Usually closes around 4am on Fridays and Saturdays. DJs play from doors, with live acts about 30 minutes later.
Wheelchair accessible throughout, rooftop included, though some lift access needs a staff escort.
