Mr. Scruff is the stage name of Andrew Carthy, an English DJ and producer from Macclesfield who lives in Stretford, Greater Manchester. He has DJed since 1992 and is known for eclectic sets that often run past six hours. His records have come out on Ninja Tune, and his early vinyl releases on Rob's Records and Pleasure included Chicken In A Box.
The venue
A Kreuzberg club founded in 2011 in former Prussian cavalry stables built in 1854, on the Dragonerareal. Its programme mixes drum and bass, bass music, jazz, funk and live electronic acts with concerts.
Concerts listed for late 2026 start at 19:30, earlier than the club nights.
