Max Cooper is a London-based electronic composer and DJ with a PhD in computational biology. He has released music since 2007, including the debut album Human, and runs the label Mesh. His work pairs music with visuals and installations, and he has worked with Zaha Hadid Architects and the Barbican Centre.

Plastikman is the main recording name of Richie Hawtin, a DJ and electronic musician who is British-Canadian. Since 1993 the project moved from acid techno on Spastik to ambient and minimal sounds on Consumed (1998). Hawtin co-founded the label Plus 8 in 1990 and launched M-nus in 1998. He also records as F.U.S.E.
