Ewan McVicar is a house and techno DJ and producer from Ayr, Scotland, whose sound is disco house. In 2017 he started the night TEN in Ayr, with residents drawn from the town. His single Tell Me Something Good won Track of the Year at DJ Mag's Best of British awards and Radio 1's Electronic Track of the Year in 2021. With Steven Simpson he also makes acid-leaning music as Granary 12.

The alias Special Request belongs to Paul Woolford, a Leeds-born DJ and producer working in house, techno, breakbeat and speed garage. The project has been active since 2012 and takes its raw energy from UK pirate radio, which Woolford has described as a rowdier counterpart to his work under his own name. It is also the name of a vinyl imprint.

Sam Alfred is an Egypt-born, Sudanese DJ and producer who plays house, garage and techno with a 90s influence. His tracks are big, four-on-the-floor cuts made for large sound systems. His 2024 EP Roadblocks came out on Running Back, and he has played Pitch Music & Arts, Strawberry Fields and Beyond the Valley.

The venue
A basement club under the A’DAM Toren in Amsterdam-Noord, open on Friday and Saturday nights. It came back into DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs in 2026 at number 90.
