Dreamstate brings a multi-stage bill of trance, techno and harder sounds to Sydney Showground, including Infected Mushroom, Ferry Corsten, MaRLo and Tiësto.

Tiësto is a Dutch DJ and producer whose long catalogue spans very different eras of main-room dance music. Comparing his earlier trance-facing material with his later crossover singles is more informative than treating the whole career as one fixed sound.

Factor B is the trance project of Brendan Blatt, an Australian-born DJ and producer from Melbourne who is now based in Amsterdam. He plays melodic, uplifting trance with an emotional edge and long, building sets. His productions have come out on Armada Music and FSOE.

Ferry Corsten is a Rotterdam DJ and producer with a long history in trance and a melodic, euphoric approach. His music also appears through distinct projects, including Gouryella.

Indira Paganotto connects fast techno with psychedelic trance influences, describing the result as psy-techno. ARTCORE is her label and event platform, providing a wider context for the high-speed, vocal-inflected sound.
Infected Mushroom →
Played Sydney 13 times since 2001
Infected Mushroom are an Israeli duo, Amit Duvdevani and Erez Eisen, formed in Haifa in 1996. They play psytrance and electronica. Their debut album, The Gathering, came out in 1999. In early 2006 they relocated to Los Angeles. Army of Mushrooms followed in 2012 on Dim Mak.
