Know the room

A queer-run techno club in a former bookbinding workshop at the corner of Humberweg and Basisweg, close to Sloterdijk station. It opened in 2024 as a permanent home for the SPIELRAUM party, founded in 2017.

Room notes: There are two floors: the main dancefloor on the first floor and a smaller room upstairs called the Studio, whose floor still has staples from the bookbinding days. The sound and light crew is made up of FLINTA and queer technicians.
History: Talks with the city started in 2021; noise standards and objections held up the opening until 2024.
