Know the room
A university music venue on Level 2 of Manning House. Indoor gigs, balcony layouts and courtyard events use different parts of the site, so “Manning” does not always mean the same room.
- Size
Published capacities are 950 in the main room, 1,150 with the balcony, and 2,050 across the front and back courtyards. Do not use the indoor figure for an open-air ticket.
- Arrival
The venue estimates about 20 minutes on foot from Redfern; buses to the University footbridge on Parramatta Road leave a shorter walk.
- Parking
Campus parking is limited and paid. Use the University MazeMaps parking layer linked by Manning to locate actual bays, including accessible spaces.
- Access
Manning House lists lifts, ramps and accessible bathrooms. Manning Bar also has a hearing loop.
